Toward a different kind of theatre.

Created in the year 2004, the International School of Dramatic Corporal mime, is part of the training axis of the organization MOVEO was formed with four main objectives:

• To form a new generation of physical theatre actors and actresses. Offering the necessary tools so that they can have the artistic and physical means to realize their ideas and projects - through the teaching of the Dramatic Corporeal Mime as it was created by Etienne Decroux and developed by the ones who, for more than twenty years, continue the search of a new theater centered in the actor/actress and his/her body as main mean of expression.
  
  
• To teach, develop and continue promoting the study of dramatic corporal mime. To increase the visibility of this art form through theatre training and the creation and production of shows.
  
  
• To investigate and seek new teaching methods for the physical theater actor in the school.
  
  
• To offer a professional training so that the student or the actor can join a professional physical theatre company (Moveo Teatro) or be able to develop its own projects.

Since its creation, the School has welcomed actors of more than thirty different countries.

Thanks to study of a clear corporal technique, the interpretation of pieces created by Etienne Decroux, its assistants or the members of Moveo Teatro, the study of different techniques of improvisation and the creation of shows, the students of the school learn to control their corporal and scenic space, so that the body can be at the service of their imagination. The studies at the International school of corporeal mime aim at placing the actor at the centre of the theatrical creation.

Whithin its training and education projects, Moveo offers a diploma programme, intensive courses, weekend laboratories and intensive or specialized classes in different areas, like the animation in 3D, where the body is a fundamental element.
