MOVEO is a performing arts centre dedicated to the training, creation and investigation of physical theatre and Etienne Decroux's dramatic corporeal mime.

Within the creation axe, the international company Moveo specialises in devised shows using the body and the art of movement as the main elements of expression, without renouncing the use of other artistic disciplines. This multidisciplinary allows Moveo Company´s production to emerge out of a constant stage investigation, encouraging collaboration between different artists and bringing a renewal of the stage.

Since its creation, Moveo has produced five shows, Marelle, Requiem (Special Jury Award for the skilful fusion of scenic languages, Mostra de Teatre de Barcelona 2007), Detrás, Dreaming the River to the Sea and ARA! (Winner of the e-MIX Quality Label, seal of quality for the visual and physical theatre in Europe 2011).

Within the training axe, we organize courses intended to widening the offer of theatre training and introduce lines of physical work, which are so far not taught in Spain. In 2004 we founded, together with Els Mechanics, the Escuela Internacional de Mimo Corporal Dramático de Barcelona (International School of Corporeal Mime). Since our origins and until now, students from over fourty countries have participated in our centre’s activities. Currently, the Escuela Internacional de Mimo Corporal Dramático de Barcelona is part of l'ACET (Catalan Association of Schools of Theatre).
