At the end of July don’t miss the MIMOS Festival in Périgueux, Francia. A week full of shows as well as mime and physical theatre workshops.
Sophie Kasser, co-director of the Moveo Centre, will teach the workshop ‘’Rhythm-Weight-Articulation: basic elements for the performer”, together with Lionel Ménard. They will work through the main principles of Etienne Decroux and Marcel Marceau’s research, but also around the lines of investigation presented by the participants, in order to explore what makes the basis of physical theatre.

Hi, will these workshops be in English? And do I have to have experience in mime to participate?

thank you for your comment. The workshop will be taught in German and French mainly, but it will depend on the applications.
Regarding the experience, the course is aimed at people who are already professionals or students of professional trainings in acting, dancing, mime, directing… Not only Corporeal Mime.
